What to do at Bloom?
If you are lucky enough to secure a place to attend Bloom in the Park, your class will be taken on a guided educational tour throughout the Food Village. You will visit the Incredible Edibles polytunnel where you will learn about Irish produce and hints on how to grow and harvest crops. You will also stop by the Farmyard at Bloom and learn about Irish farming and agriculture and see the animals at the show. Your tour will conclude by stopping off at the SEED Organic School garden where you will learn more about school gardening and experience all the activities on display.
The Bord Bia and Agri Aware tour will take no longer than 45 minutes. You will be given a map of the event site with key interesting points when you visit. Outside of your scheduled tour, you will have the rest of the day to explore the many exhibits on display around the site.
If your registration has been successful, Agri Aware’s team will contact you to confirm your attendance so you can start planning your trip!
Reminder: This trip is extremely popular amongst teachers and schools, and as much as we would like all registered schools to attend, places are limited, so be quick to avoid disappointment.
We look forward to seeing you there,
