Title 
On the front of the Incredible Edibles log book, this school had the title. They drew pictures of some of the Incredible Edibles. They included lots of colour.

Table of Contents
They included the table of contents. This outlined the five tasks and gave a detailed description of each task.

Task 1
They then described task 1 which included learning about food origin and identifying how fruit and vegetables grow. They planted the seeds they received in their "box of goodies". They included photos and pictures of fruit and vegetables they had to sow.

Task 2
They described task 2 which asks students to identify Irish potatoes, fruit and vegetables when shopping. This school made a list of processed and unprocessed foods and researched what food was produced in their county.

Sligo Food Trail
They described a trip that they went on called the Sligo Food Trail which was set up to support food producers in Sligo. They gave a description of the trip and included photos.

Quick Crop Visit and Wild Atlantic Oysters
The school invited a guest speaker, Aisling from Quick Crop to talk about her business and what produce they grow, which they described on these pages. They included pictures of painted oyster shells that they completed as part of their art work.

Foods that grow on Plants and Fruits that grow on Vines
The class included foods that are grown on plants and foods that are grown on vines. They drew pictures of these foods and labelled them.

Fruits that grow on bushes and vegetables that grow underground
They drew pictures and labelled fruits that grow on bushes and vegetables that grow underground.

Task 3
They outlined task 3 which is part of growing the edibles. The children drew pictures of the different varieties of potatoes and included a photo of a bag of potatoes.

Potatoes
The class wrote facts about potatoes and included pictures of their potato plants that are growing in the school garden.

Bord Bia
The children then told us about their research on Bord Bia. They learned about the Bord Bia symbol and their role. They also took pictures of food in the supermarkets with the Bord Bia quality mark. They included pictures of their plants to date as well.

On these pages of the log book the children took pictures of their plants to date to show how much they had grown.

Unique and Unusual Fruit and Vegetables
The children drew pictures of unique fruit and vegetables that they had researched. They labelled these pictures.

Task 4
Task 4 asks the children to prepare/cook potatoes, fruit and vegetables at home or in school as a class. Therefore, this school completed recipes to include in the logbook.  They took pictures of themselves cooking and tasting these recipes.

They included more pictures of their plants to date.

Task 5
During healthy eating week, task 5 asked the classes taking part to monitor their fruit, vegetable and potato consumption throughout the week. The children filled in healthy eating charts which they included in the logbook.

The Food Pyramid
The children drew a picture of the food pyramid. They learned about the different food groups. They included pictures of the Incredible Edibles.

---

Harvest Day
​The children included pictures of their harvest. They decided to have a picnic with the fruit and vegetables they had grown.

Final Page
​On the last two pages, the children drew pictures of the Incredible Edibles and thanked them for their adventure.
